Ive been living in Bayonne over 6 years now and didn't realize this Italian restaurant near my place. Had it I recently and the pasta is great. I had the rigatoni with meatballs and it was cooked well and the meat balls tasty.
Finally made it to Cafe Bello. The food and drinks were delicious. The portions are great and the staff is very friendly. We got the bolognese and the chicken bosciaola. The prices are great and I loved the atmosphere. I will definitely be back.
The food was DELICIOUS!! Way better than the chain restaurants. Everything tasted fresh and seasoned perfectly. Staff was super friendly, everyone was smiling, just all around great vibes. Definitely recommend 10/10!
This place is an absolute home run every single time I go there and every single time I order.. I’ve become a real critique when it comes to Italian food because I’ve been spoiled my whole life with Italian parents and traditional Italian plates everyday of my life and many restaurants that claim they have good Italian foods really do NOT.. but this place hits the mark without a doubt in my mind they are truly Italian and make some of the best dishes here in New Jersey .. linguini/Clams are awesome and bucatini bolognese is phenomenal.. Writing this review while I stuff my fat face 😂❤️ thanks again guys

We visited Cafe Bello for my wife's Mother's Day dinner because our son lives in Bayonne. We made our reservation a little too close to the weekend so the only available seating was in their rear patio enclosure/tent. This wasn't the greatest experience for a first visit to what seemed to be a very nice restaurant. They have two a/c units, one in each of the rear corners. One of them was blowing cold air on the back of my neck, which wouldn't have been so bad if it was 90° outside, but it was 60°. Also, the acoustics are nonexistent and one table had a group of women that seemed to be competing with each other to see who could be the loudest. In any event, we also did not know that it was going to a limited Mother's Day Menu, but Oh Well... we made the best of it. The saving day of the whole experience was the actual service and the food. The waiters are extremely attentive and informative. The bread seems to be homemade, warm and plentiful. The anti-paste was interesting and more than enough to share. We also ordered the fried calamari which is has a nice light breading with a sliced pepperocini topping. I ordered the Sunday Sauce with the only disappointments being the meatball and the ricotta. The meatball was small and bland looking and the dollup of ricotta was a little lacking. On the other hand, the sausage was perfect and braciola was more than ample. The portion of spaghetti was more than enough to bring some home, and the all important Sunday Sauce was indeed just like Nonna's. My wife had the Penne Vodka which was spot on. At the end of the day, we will revisit Cafe Bello, but only when we know we can be seated in the actual restaurant. Btw, the interior of this restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. They have a very nice bar, and a wood fired pizza oven..
Solid spot for italian food. Great service and atmosphere. I was there with my 5 year old daughter on Daughter/Daddy day outing to liberty science center. Lets just say we killed that shit lol. Great for everyone... Date, family, friends, young and old. Solid solid solid
If you're craving incredible Italian, this is the place. The meal began with warm, fresh focaccia (a huge highlight). The seafood shone here—the lobster ravioli was packed with flavor, and the shrimp and scallop risotto was perfectly creamy, not too heavy. The filet of sole was delicate and delicious. Highly recommend!
wow, this place was fancier than expected, with amazing pasta and pizza and incredible food and service! they also serve some of the best (free) bread i’ve ever had and all of the food was great value and serving size. also fantastic and friendly service, and they even physically displayed all of the desserts for us to choose!
